Yolanda vom Hagen

Born in Düsseldorf/Germany, I studied Photography and Design at the University of Applied Sciences in Dortmund and the Beijing Film Academy (2006-2007). I started to explore the lives of people through the lens of an observer privately and professionally from the age of 7. An exchange program led me to make Shanghai my personal and professional home in 2010.

Since then, I work in the fields of industrial, architecture, interior, event and portraiture photography, offering a comprehensive portfolio and experience for my client’s from all over the world. My Clients include Roche, Commerzbank, Henkel, Geberit, Lehvoss, Logon, Continentale, Luwa, Voith, Demag, Farsoon, Zeiss, Porsche, Waldner, Cologne Fair International, Konrad Adenauer and Mercator Foundation etc.

With many years of working in inter-cultural companies, trainings, marketing and business development, being fluent in English, German and Chinese, I bring in a wealth of experiences to develop suitable communication strategies and materials.

As photography is all about moving and observing people and trust of people towards me comes easily, I also started using it as a conscious tool to take people on journeys of self-exploration and healing. As part of this path, I completed trainings in Non-Violent Communication, Meditation and further obtained certifications in NLP and Life Coaching (ICF) in 2020.

In my free projects I create spaces for participants to explore and open up to what is alive in them and others.
